Ann G. Grogan

June 17, 1922 - June 5, 2006
Ann G. Grogan, 83, wife of Bill B. Grogan, died Monday, June 5, 2006. She was a daughter of the late Walter E. and Annie Mattison Gossett. Mrs. Grogan was a homemaker and a member of Augusta Heights Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband of 64 years, are a daughter, Rebecca Anne Grogan Griffeth of Greenville a granddaughter, Rebecca Landis Griffeth of Nashville, TN.; a grandson and his wife, William Jackson and Lesley Brees Griffeth of Greenville; a sister, Mary Wade of Greenville; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Louise Gossett of Easley; a sister-in-law, Josephine Gossett of Pelzer; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Zula Jordan, Emmie Holloman and Betty Gossett and four brothers, Elliott Gossett, Walter Gossett, Francis Gossett, and Malcomb Gossett. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in memory of Ann Grogan to Winthrop University, 124 Tillman Hall, Rock Hill, S.C. 29733. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 10:30 am with visitation to follow until 12:00 noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
