Ann Marshall Braylo, 45, of Simpsonville, daughter of the late Pastor Marshall Braylo and Reba (Phipps) Braylo, entered Heaven on Friday July 15, 2022. She was born August 19, 1976, in Staunton, VA.
Ann completed her Bachelors of Science degree, in Special Education, from Gardner-Webb University in 1998. After teaching for eight years, she completed her Master’s Degree from Gardner-Webb University in 2006. Ann worked as a special education teacher for 22 years. In those 22 years, she taught and advocated for many students in North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina.
In addition to her mother, family members left to cherish Ann’s memory include her brothers, David and Darren Braylo; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to her beloved father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Alan Braylo.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown, with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel, conducted by Pastor Brian Owens of First Baptist Church, Simpsonville.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022, 3:00 p.m., at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Sparta, NC.
