Donna Darnell left a message on July 18, 2022:
Sending my thoughts, prayers, and love to Ann's family. Ann and I worked together at JL Mann and taught the same kiddos. We did many projects, trips, cooking activities, etc together. I am at a loss for words of comfort. We had already began planning the beginning of this coming school year. I just want you to know Ann was a blessing to her friends and coworkers here. But most of all, she loved all the kids in her class (past and present). I can hear her say now..."my kiddos." She celebrated them and every accomplishment no matter how big or small. She was their biggest advocate and voice. She will be greatly missed at JL Mann, the special ed dept, her classroom and in my life. Sending much love! Donna Darnell, JL Mann High Special Education Teacher

Rixey Sheads Colvin left a message on July 18, 2022:
Reba and Darren, I am mourning with you over Ann’s passing. It is still sinking in as I’m sure you’re experiencing as well. This is way to soon for such a sweet and amazing soul but I know you are able to trust God above all as you try to make sense of it. I can’t get her off my mind and I just want you to know that she will not be forgotten. She lived out love in an amazing way and that will leave a legacy that truly matters. I remember our time together as children and she was always incredibly positive. But what I remember most is that smile that was seen in her whole face, even her eyes. I’m sorry I can’t be there but please know I’ll be thinking of you and praying for the kind of comfort and peace that only God provides. Much Love, Rixey
