Ann Sloan Jones

Ann Sloan Jones, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Born in Greer, SC, she was the youngest and last remaining child of Furman and Edna Sloan of Greer.

She was the wife of the late Rev. C.W. Jones, and they served pastorates in Northeast Georgia and Upstate South Carolina. Most recently, they served churches in Anderson and Greenville. She was a member of City View First Baptist.

In recent years, Ann resided at Martha Franks Retirement Community in Laurens.

Survivors, include two daughters, Donna McCombs and husband, Jim, of Anderson, and Lynn McQueen and husband, Eric, of Simpsonville; one son, Phil Jones and wife, Eve, of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Amanda McCombs Miller and husband, Richey, Phillip Jones and wife, Ruwel, Barron Jones and wife, Kristen, and Rachel McQueen Yoder and husband, Robert; and six great grandchildren, Tye Miller, Tillman Yoder, Jones Yoder, Fields Yoder, Lincoln Jones, and Paxton Jones. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Florence Sloan.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in Graceland East Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Martha Franks Retirement Community, Charitable Care Fund, 1 Martha Franks Drive, Laurens, SC 29360. This fund provides financial assistance for residents in need.
