Annie ?Louise? Lyles Houston, 93, of 202B West Wilburn Avenue, died Sunday, September 11, 2005. Born in Travelers Rest, she was the daughter of the late James Washington and Emma Jane Hitt Lyles and wife of the late Alexander Jack Houston. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Houston retired from Poinsett Mill and was a member of Greenville Evangelistic Church. Surviving are four daughters, Lucille Bishop and her husband Clyde, of Greenville, Sherry Monroe and her husband Bill, of Covington, GA, Shelby Pittman and Nancy Good, both of Greenville; two sons, Jerry Houston and his wife Louise of Greer and David Houston and his wife Jane of Inman; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son, James L. Buck Houston and a daughter, Evelyn Diane Houston. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Greenville Evangelistic Church with Rev. Mark Thead officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at the residence.
