Anthony Francis Baldauf, of Taylors, SC passed away at home on March 11, 2024 while surrounded by his family.
Born in Denver, CO in 1967, he was a son of the late Daniel Baldauf of Clinton, Nebraska, and Lona Cady Baldauf of Gordon, Nebraska and the sixth of seven children in the Baldauf Family.
Anthony spent his childhood playing with siblings, cousins, and friends roaming the hills of Nebraska, the mountains of Colorado, the coastal area of Texas, the plains of Wyoming, and the deserts of New Mexico. However, no matter where he lived he considered himself a true cowboy at heart. Full dress up for Anthony meant a cowboy hat, boots, and a bolo tie.
Anthony was employed at Ingles grocery store since moving to Taylors in 2008 and was well known by employees and customers. He was happiest when he was visiting with people and loved reminiscing about friends and family. Among the family, he was known as the family historian and kept track of the birthdates of the extended Baldauf and Cady families.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Lona Baldauf and his brother, Francis. He is survived by his Aunt Veda Ford of Papillion, NE; Aunt Marie and Uncle Gary Datus of Walnut, IA; Uncle Don and Aunt Jody of Broomfield, CO; siblings Vickie and David Wunder of Taylors, SC; Dan and Christine Baldauf of Cheyenne, WY; Richard and Laura Baldauf of Albuquerque, NM; Laurie and Greg Robison of Taylors, SC; Marie and Brad Gates of Jamestown, RI; and many nieces and nephews across the United States.

There will be a Recitation of the Rosary at 11:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. A private interment will take place in Nebraska at the convenience of his family.
