Arthur Edward Williamson

Arthur Edward ?Ott? Williamson, 85, died on Sunday, March 5, 2006. Born in Hogansville, GA, he was the husband of Vera Marrett Williamson and a son of the late J.D. Williamson, Sr. and Thelma Moore Williamson. Mr. Williamson was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Army. He was self-employed and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his loving wife, is a son, Arthur Edward Williamson, Jr.; two grandchildren, Michael Williamson and Lynn Williamson; a great-granddaughter, Samantha Williamson; a brother, Cotton Williamson, and his wife, Vivian; two step-daughters, Juanita H. Parro, and her husband, Nat, Brenda H. Reece, and her husband, David; 12 step ?grandchildren, 25 step-great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Williamson was predeceased by a step-son, Claude Edward Hinton; a sister, Virginia W. Moore; and brothers, Robert Ray Williamson and J.D. Williamson, Jr. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at noon in Graceland Cemetery, West. Visitation will be held following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape Baptist Church, 118 Miami Avenue, Piedmont, SC 29673. The family will be at their respective homes.
