Benny Ray Fulghum, 57, of 403 S. Florida Avenue, died on Monday, May 8, 2006. Born in Travelers Rest, he was a son of the late Clyde Franklin and Blanche Vickery Fulghum. Mr. Fulghum was employed with Burger King and also worked with Judson Mill. He attended Oak Crest Baptist Church. Surviving are a brother, Billy J. Fulghum and wife Rachel, of Liberty; and five sisters, Mary Ruth Fulghum of the home, Shirley Dutton and husband Sammy of Anderson, Carolyn Turner and husband Jim of Anderson, Kathryn Brown and husband Paul of Athens, GA, and Sue Shepherd of Athens, GA. He is predeceased by a sister, Helen Fulghum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.
