Bernie claimed me as his “adopted daughter”. Being best friends with Deb his daughter for decades, he would always tell me what wonderful friends Deb had her entire life. Bernie shared so many good times with us, he was such a fun loving man. Bernie loved his family, and always wanted them to have a great life with no regrets. He was proud to talk about his family, his work and was eager to hear about what was happening in everyone’s life. He truly cared and listened from his heart. I know Bernie is looking down upon us and smiling that smile. He has left a wonderful legacy through his daughter and grandson who he both adored. Miss and love you Bernie, “my adopted Dad”. ?

My uncle Bernie would drive 2 1/2 hours to watch me play baseball when I was a teenager. I would try Xtra hard so as to not let him down. Always had a smile on his face.

I remember Uncle Bernie's gentle manner and warm smile. He also shared a love of Czarnina soup with my mother, his sister. I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Debbie and Love Ones, I am so sorry for your loss and know Uncle Bernie, my Godfather is with the Lord and our families??☀️ I always remember him as loving, sweet, and my mom saying he was always very kind to her! The last few phone calls he made to me will be treasured. He knew I had similar problems as Lori-and we discussed our feelings in length.! He made me feel comforted when I was trying to comfort him!! I love him much❤️ God Bless, Mary Martin Homza

Deb my heart hurts for you. Be proud of all you did for your dad and know he wouldn’t have lived as long as he did without you. You are such a loving, giving and caring person and I know he really appreciated all you did for him. Joy you were like his second daughter. Steven and Meghan he loved you and his eyes would just light up whenever he talked about you. My prayers are for all of you. I love you and will celebrate the great man Bernie was.
