Bernice Poole Stovall, 84, of 7 East Gantt Street, died Friday, May 5, 2006. Mrs. Stovall was the widow of Buril Stovall and the daughter of the late Tom and Anne Whitman Poole. She was retired from Riverside Mill and was a member of Wareplace Church of God. She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Murphy of Sneeds Ferry, NC; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Wardlaw and three sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 8, 2006 at Wareplace Church of God. Visitation will be held from 10:30 ? 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Garden. The family will be at the home.
