Billy Norman Patrick, Sr., 81, of Simpsonville, died April 2, 2013. Born in Greeneville, TN, he was a son of the late Floyd and Zelma Patrick. Billy served in the United States Air Force and was a retired electrician. He was a Shriner, a member of the Bates Masonic Lodge in Easley and a member of Glendale Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Lou Fletcher Patrick; two daughters, Susan and Randy Pennington of Hickory, NC, and Norma Leigh and Mike Finnie of Mauldin, SC; two sons, Jimmy and Debbie Patrick of Amelia Island, FL, and Billy Jr. and Asonja Patrick of Greer, SC; 10 grandchildren, Blake and Haley Patrick, Tripp and Spencer Patrick, Austin and Aaron Pennington, Michael, Matt and wife, Jacqueline, Alex and Landon Finnie; his special brother-in-law, Ray Stovall; and his brother, Floyd Patrick, Jr. of Pelzer. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Thelma Campbell, Nancy Stovall, and Virginia Self. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Glendale Baptist Church, with visitation prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery West. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glendale Baptist Church, 212 East Butler Road, Mauldin, SC 29662; or to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. The family will be at the home.
