Billy W. Watson

Billy W. Watson, 72, of Greenville, widower of Juanita Bridwell Watson, died Sunday, May 21, 2006 at his residence. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Ralph and Bertha C. Watson. Mr. Watson was a retired CPA and was a member of Grove Road Baptist Church, where he was very active in the leadership positions with the youth. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Wendy Watson of Greenville, Mickey and Pamela Watson of Simpsonville; five grandchildren, Zach, Jen, Katie, Tyler, and Christine Watson; two brothers, R.L. and Howard Watson; and a sister, June Godfrey. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 1:30 pm in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
