Bonnie Keith Noe, 84, went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 11, 2005 at Westside Living Center. She was born on September 26, 1921, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Henry and Ida Kemp. She was also predeceased by her husband, Kenneth O. Keith, who died in August of 1979, and a son, Valdon O. Keith, who died in the line of duty serving the Greenville County Sheriff?s Department on Thanksgiving Day of 1985. She was the youngest and last surviving of thirteen children. Mrs. Noe is survived by three sons, Earle Keith and wife Elizabeth of Taylors, Larry Keith and wife Beverly of Dacusville, James Keith and wife Kay of Greenville, and Valdon?s wife, Barbara; ten grandchildren, Judy, Scott, Chris, Allen, Matthew, Jennifer, Brian, Lindsey, Andy, and Shane; twelve great grandchildren, Carrie, Tiffany, Brandon, Bryson, Brittany, Taylor, Alexus, Seth, Tyler, Makenzie, Audrey, and Madison ? due in January. She also leaves behind a special friend and caregiver, Doris Rhodes of Westside Living Center. As well as being a loving mother and homemaker, she owned and operated several restaurants in the Greenville area. The most memorable being Keith?s Café across from Parker High School, which she operated from 1959 until 1974. She made many friends during this time and fed many hungry Parker students. After retiring, two of her greatest joys were tending to her grandchildren and gardening. She was also a loving caregiver to her mother-in-law, Olive Keith, until her death in 1990. In the latter years of her life she was fortunate enough to find love again. She married Carol Noe of Greenville and they enjoyed several years together until his death in February of 1994. She also loved worshiping her Savior at Unity Baptist Church in Berea. She spent the last four years of her life at Westside Living Center where she was a faithful witness for her Lord. She enjoyed church services, family visits and bingo. The family wishes to thank Westside Living Center Staff for their care and compassion shown to our mother during her final years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held at Unity Baptist Church, 12 Piney Road, Greenville, SC, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with her Pastor, Reverend Earl Green officiating. Burial will be at Berea First Baptist Church Cemetery. The families will be at their respective homes.
