Boyce Hendricks Crenshaw, 81, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at his home. Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Toad C. and Doshia Crooks Crenshaw and the husband of the late Janie Ozella Wald Crenshaw. Mr. Crenshaw served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II and retired from the Greenville City Police Department after 39 ½ years service. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Survivors are a daughter, Faye O. Crenshaw; three sons, Gary B. Crenshaw and wife, Gail, of Taylors, Donnie S. Crenshaw and wife, Peggy, and Roger H. Crenshaw and wife, Kathleen of Easley; a sister, Marion Crenshaw of Anderson; and two brothers, John Crenshaw of Atlanta and Doug Crenshaw of Pickens; six grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, and a special friend, Audrey Cooper. Mr. Crenshaw was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa Crenshaw, a sister, Jennie Bridges and a brother, Bill Crenshaw. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 ? 6:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Ave., Greenville, SC 29605. The family will be at their respective homes. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Gluck and staff at the Greenville Cancer Center.
