Carol was always artistic and chose pottery as her medium. She and her mother were the only two mother and daughters chosen to be members of the prestigious Southern Highlands Craft Guild at the same time. They were a remarkable team holding many wonderful family events in their home.

I still have the ash tray and turtle that I made in Miss Sutherland's art class at Hughes Junior High in the 1966-67 school year.

Dear Family, I grew up with Carol at West Gantt Baptist Church. Our parents were friends and we used to do picnics at the lake and have meals at each others homes. Carol was the only one with drivers lic. and a car when we were teenagers. we would take up a dime apiece for gas and she would ride us around after church on Sunday nights. We would fill up the car with teenagers. Your Grandmother would do halloween parties for us and they were fantastic. I have fond memories of Carol. know she will be missed.

Dear family, Carol was very special. She was in the Basket Group with us. I am in Texas now, she remembered me at Christmas with a card. She use to make homemade cards & I saved them and made a large collage. She loved making pottery. I have many pieces even a little nativity. Many of my friends have pieces.
