Carolyn Jones Foster

Carolyn Jones Foster, of 205 Saluda Drive, passed away Thursday, March 09, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Gettys Lee Jones and Thelma Jones Sites of Taylors. Carolyn was a supervisor at T.A.S. Communications. Surviving are two sisters, Debbie J. Quattlebaum and husband John of Greenville, Kathy J. McConnell of Taylors; three daughters, Jeannie Looper of Piedmont, Joy Lewis and husband Ron of Greer, Jackie Hunnicutt and husband Brent of Gastonia, NC.; three granddaughters, Annelise and Alexandra Lewis of Greer, Brittany Hunnicutt of Gastonia, NC.; one niece, Melissa Norris and husband Lee of Greenville; and two great nephews, Jordan and Parker Norris. In lieu of flower?s. memorials may be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam?s Way, Randleman, NC 27317; St. Jude?s Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to the Medical University of South Carolina, Anatomical Program, 173 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29425. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 12, 2006 at 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 PM at First Baptist Church, Piedmont with the Reverend Dr. Stephen Z. Hearne officiating.
