Charles “Chuck” Bradley Martin, 46, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
Chuck was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. He graduated from Irmo High School in 1995. He continued his education and graduated from Midlands Technical College with an associate in science degree and attended Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services.
Chuck was mechanically gifted. As a child he excelled in riding and repairing skateboards. As an adult, he was an experienced mechanic becoming a master builder of muscle cars. He enjoyed fishing, had a love for animals and liked spending time outdoors where he felt a sense of peace with his heavenly Father. God in His infinite wisdom and mercy welcomed Chuck into his heavenly home.
Chuck is survived by his loving parents, Bill and Myra Martin; his sister, Tanya Maldonado (Jerry); his brother, Chad Martin; nephews, Shawn Rohrer (SueAnn), Jarrod (Jessica) Maldonado, Jacob (Taylor) Maldonado, Zachary Martin, and Asher Daigle; nieces, Kristin Martin and Kaitlyn Martin; and great nieces, Scarlett Martin, Marlee Ray, Valerie Maldonado, and Karsyn Coker; and great nephew, Cason Dearman.
A visitation will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest. A private burial will be held in Berea First Baptist Church Cemetery.
