Charles Glenn Munson

Charles Glenn Munson, 72, of 537 Thomas Mill Road, husband of Marjorie Casey Munson, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at his residence. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley Matthew and Barbara Catherine Vinsky Munson. Mr. Munson was retired from Standard-Hall Corporation and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife are, six children, Charlie Munson of Greenville, Judy Munson of the home, Jeannie Hilton of the home, Joe Munson and his wife, Jean, of Simpsonville, John Munson and his wife, Beth, of Easley, Janet Hawkins and her husband, Ron, of Myrtle Beach; eight grandchildren, Crystal Munson, David and Brian Munson, Laura and Natalie Munson, Emily, Rachel and Ronnie Hawkins; a sister, Ann Meyers of Paris, TN; and a brother, John Munson of Conneaut, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie, Stanley and Joe Munson. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
