Charles Olen Mullinax

April 11, 1928 - March 14, 2006
Charles Olen Mullinax, 77, of 115 Ragsdale Drive, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2006. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Herman and Jessie Maddox Mullinax. Mr. Mullinax served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Associated Transport and Leeway Transport. He was a member and Deacon of Grace Baptist Church, a Shriner and a member of Judson Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife of fifty-five years, Mildred Dobson Mullinax, of the home; a daughter, Sheri Stowe and husband Bobby, of Piedmont; two grandchildren, Robert Stowe and Kelly Stowe, both of Piedmont; and three sisters, Louise Day and Ann Moore of Pickens, and Rosella Burton of Jasper, AL. He is predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Don Mullinax. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 ? 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Friday at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, Romania Mission Trip Fund, 11 Virginia Avenue, Greenville, SC 29611. The family is at the home of the daughter, Sheri Stowe, 46 Madison Court, Piedmont, SC.
