I delivered meals to Mr. Kaufman for several years. We became buddies, and always picking on each other. I wear shorts most of the time and he always kidded me about not wearing big boy pants. He was always cheerful and I feel blessed to have known him. Palmer Brown.

Chuck was a wonderful father, even to the kids in the neighborhood. I met Angie when I was 4 years old and quickly became an honorary Kauffman with my own nickname! I was named “Chief Talk-A-Lot,” by Chuck. He would tease me, but would always listen to my ramblings with patience and good humor. He was a loud talker and an even louder laugher and was one of the only examples of a true father in my life. I will miss him.
