Charles Wesley Taylor

October 6, 1950 - March 28, 2006
Charles Wesley Taylor, 55, of 655 Pistol Club Road, finished his race on Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Born in Marietta, he was a son of the late James E. and Grace Darnell Taylor. Mr. Taylor served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War Era and graduated from Limestone College. He retired from Hendrick Honda and was a member of Renfrew Baptist Church where he was active in the youth and nursing home ministries. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Bridwell Taylor; a daughter, Sam Taylor; two sons, Abe Taylor, and David Allen and wife Sandra; three sisters, Ellon Ramey of Pennington Gap, VA, Atha Hancox-Pegram of Marietta, and Ruth Hollingsworth of Whitmire; and three brothers, Powe of Myrtle Beach, Joe of Easley, and Aaron of Travelers Rest. He is predeceased by three brothers, Bud, Shields, and John Martin Taylor. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Renfrew Baptist Church with visitation from 12:30 ? 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to The Taylor Children through the MCCS Taylor Scholarship, c/o Mt. Carmel Christian School, 1623 Hester Store Road, Easley, SC 29640. The family is at the residence.
