Charlotte Elizabeth Joop Biddle

Charlotte Elizabeth Joop Biddle, 93, of 211 Batesview Dr., Greenville, died Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in LaSalle, IL, she was a daughter of the late William and Rose Boehm Joop and widow of Vernon Biddle. Mrs. Biddle was a member of Pekin Bible Church, Pekin, IL. Surviving are one daughter, Joy Dennis and her husband Bill of Minneapolis, MN; one son, Verne Lee Biddle and his wife Sue of Greenville; four grandchildren, Sarah Abbott and husband Jon, Heidi Kliewer and husband Brad, and Rachel and Jonathan Biddle; one great-grandchild, Karin Abbott; and two sisters, Florence Johnson and Adelle Cross. She was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Joop. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, with burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Illinois. Memorials may be made to Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC 29614. – Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
