Cheryl Ann Cumbee, 43, wife of Bobby Cumbee, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of Tommy McConnell and the late Sybil Johnson McConnell. Mrs. Cumbee was employed at McDonald's. Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, are two sons, Travis Wardlaw and Jeremy Wardlaw; four grandchildren, Destiny, Davon and Davanna Wardlaw and Alicia Edwards; and her uncle Arthur Vaughn. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at 102 Merrilat Avenue, Greenville. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
