My heart is so heavy at the passing of Chris. He came into the Home Depot On Woodruff Rd. all the time picking up stuff for work. I will miss his smile and kindness and will be praying for your family. May God wrap his arms around you and give you comfort. Tasha White

Dawn, Tony & Jimmy, I am so incredibly sorry to hear about Christopher’s passing. I don’t ever want to think about losing a sibling. It hurts the heart so much. I have fond memories of him when we were kids. I had the opportunity to spend some time with him when he brought your mom to see my mom a few years ago. It was a really fun visit and like no time had passed. Somehow, all of us kids are connected through that beautiful friendship between our mothers. He really did have an infectious smile and large personality. I hope you, Jim and Tony find some peace in the coming days. Much love, Kathryn (Kelly)💕

Chris was the foreman for our new office construction last year. We moved in the week before Christmas, before the building was quite finalized. Over the next month, my colleagues and I had the privilege of getting to know Chris and interact with him almost daily. There are countless little things that can go wrong in a brand new building - electrical shorts, lighting issues, water pressure issues etc. - but Chris always had a solution, no matter what the issue. The week we moved in, we started noticing trails of miniscule ants in the kitchen. Pretty soon, there was an army of tiny ants climbing up the kitchen cabinet wall. We didn't have pest control services set up yet, and the bait traps I had set out were useless. But Chris stepped in and tackled the problem with gusto. He sprayed the kitchen, sealed the exterior doors from any cracks, found what the ants were after, and helped me clean up the mess. His willingness to go the extra mile and help out whatever the need were truly a blessing to us. We grieve with you, his family and friends, and pray that you will know God's comfort and find help and strength in Him.

I'd heard countless stories of Mr. Moellman from Coleby long before I met him and, while I only got to spend a few days with him over our college and post college years, I remember thinking "Well, I see where Coleby gets it from" as soon as I met him. He was full of laughs, so easy to talk to, and had the best time with our group of friends. I still laugh thinking about the night he joined us at our old courtyard in Charleston (with Coleby's grandparents as well) and we all sat outside for hours listening to good music and joking around. While words can't fill the void you all are feeling, I hope these stories and memories bring you comfort and something to smile on.

My dearest CC, it’s still not real that you have left us. You truly were one of my best friends, you always took care of me, supported me, guided me and truly loved me. Your stories were always BIG and full of life. Your smile was contagious and you learned the gift of gab from our mother but you really became a friend to everyone who met you. Your sister is still going to need your daily talk and so much advice. I pray that you are at peace and feeling like the strong man that we knew you were! I love you CC, my heart hurts so bad but we will have you in our hearts forever. Love you little brother, Dawn

Mary Anderson left a message on February 7, 2024:
I was so proud to be Chris' godmother and one of his mother's best friends. She instilled in each of her children a sense of honor and respect for right and wrong; and Chris was no exception. With his warm and tender nature, and a smile that would melt your heart, he loved to laugh and tease his mother. When I held him up for Baptism, I just knew he would always love the Lord and grow up to be a wonderful man, father and husband, and, so, he did. You are all like my own family, and I will keep you in my prayers, always. Love, Mary.
Stephen Gray left a message on February 7, 2024:
They say you can tell a person's character by how they treat animals and children. Never was that more true than with Chris. I will never forget how he claimed that Christine spoiled the dogs in one breath and speaking to them like babies the next. We will always remember how Patsy "knows better" than to get up on his hill. The kids at the pool were blessed with someone who was just as young as they are. The hole in our lives will never be properly filled.

So very sorry to Christine and family. We were just talking about how Chris took us across Coon lake in a Camaro in the winter across the ice. I was terrified. He laughed the whole time. We made it obviously… then all the great times with Tom Huey and Chris in Anoka… cruising Main Street, so many great memories. Everyone LOVED Chris, he was hilarious, kind and caring. I know how much he loved his kids and Christine. May he rest in peace. Gone too soon.
