Christopher Kit Carson, 65, husband of Tammi Sue Carson, died Tuesday morning, February 27, 2024.
Born in Port Huron, Michigan, he was a son of the late Edward Carson and Virginia Colley Carson.
When not working on his Dodge Dakota race truck in the garage, Chris could be found biking along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, watching the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings, or trying to perfect his peanut butter cookie recipe.
A dive bar aficionado, he often enjoyed a Captain and Coke (or several) on visits to favorite spots in Key West, Las Vegas, and Savannah, Georgia.
Chris never met a machine he couldn’t fix or (over-)engineer, and family and friends far and wide will miss his valued car advice and expertise.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Blair Carson and husband, Troy Schneider, Sarah Carson, step-daughter, Krystin Demers and husband, Matthew Demers; grandsons, Brady Demers and Rene Demers; and sister, Sandra Dehart and husband, Russell Dehart.
As well as his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Carson.
The Family will receive friends on Friday, March 01, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast.
