Christos Hassiotis

Christos Hassiotis, 79, husband of Sophia Komninake Hassiotis, died at Greenville Memorial Medical Center on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Born in Greece, he was the son of the late Athena and Constantinos Hassiotis. Mr. Hassiotis was the retired owner of Boston Lunch and was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Surviving, in addition to his wife are two sons, Dino Hassiotis of Greenville, and George Hassiotis of Taylors; and a brother, Nick Hassiotis of Greece. Memorials may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 406 N. Academy St., Greenville, SC 29601. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Trisagon at 7 p.m at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
