Chrystal Litton Holdren

Chrystal Louise Holdren, 86, died Friday, May 5, 2006. She was born in Hurricane, West Virginia on January 14, 1920, and was the daughter of the late O.B. and Emily Litton. Chris was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Bill Holdren, and a daughter Susan Brymer. She is survived by another daughter, Freda Hergner of Greenville, and five granddaughters: Lori Allen of Greer; Melissa Evans of Simpsonville; Christy Parker of Phoenix, AZ; Stacie Lane of Covington, GA; and Beth Kinney of Atlanta, GA; and ten great-grandchildren. Prior to living in Greenville, Mrs. Holdren lived in Albany, GA., where she was an active member in Porterfield United Methodist Church?s Women?s Group, the Garden Club, and the Albany Women?s Club. While living in Greenville, she was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church. Services and interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Albany, GA on May 9, 2006. Visitation will be from 3:00 ? 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel.
