Clarence Henry Greene, 77, of 98 Hathaway Circle, husband of Lyvone Cantrell Greene, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at North Greenville Hospital. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Henry Earl and Leatha Duncan Greene. A graduate of Parker High School, Mr. Greene attended the University of South Carolina. He was a retired General Manager with J.D. Hollingsworth and a member of Leawood Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and was also a member of the Army Jazz Band. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter and son-in-law, Lissa and G. Kim Deese of Charleston; a son, Kevin E. Greene of Greenville; a brother, Russell E. Green of Marietta; and two grandchildren, Joshua M. and Aja S. Greene. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Greene Rogers. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 16, 2008 from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Remembrance Chapel, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon.
