Clarence Mefford Casto

Clarence Mefford Casto ?Pap?, 75, of 205 Edwards Road, widower of Virginia Dalton Casto, died Sunday, March 30, 3006 at his residence. Born in Parkersburg, WV., he was the son of the late Otho E. and Louise Coffee Casto. Mr. Casto was the retired owner of Casto Contractors and was of the Methodist faith. He was a United States Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are two daughters, Casandra Andrews of Seneca, Carla Laster of Greenville; a son, Cass Casto of Anderson; a stepson, Merle Dalton; seven grandchildren, Brandy Laster, Micah Smart, E.B. Martin, Justin Casto, Nick Casto, Haley Laster, Jarrod Casto; and a great grandchild, Dalton Smart. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Max Casto. Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 4006 East North Street, Suite A, Greenville, SC 29615. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2006 from 6:00-7:30 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 3:00 in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, East. The family will be at the residence.
