Cleo Cooper Thacker

Cleo Cooper Thacker, 74, died at Rock Hill Healthcare Nursing Home in Rock Hill on Saturday, May 20, 2006. Born in Old Madison, SC, Mrs. Thacker was the widow of John W. Thacker and the daughter of the late Robert and Rosie Smith Cooper. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Charles Shirley and his wife Joyce of Rock Hill, and Ronnie Shirley and his wife Carol Brandon Shirley of Greenville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.W. Shirley. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley where the family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the charity of one?s choice. The family will be at their respective homes.
