Constance T Scott

Constance T. Scott, 84, of Greenville, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center following at brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Novem Sorel and Carl Truell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years in February of this year. "Aunt Connie" was born in Greenville and worked for a while at the Pentagon in Washington, DC and also served in the US Navy. She returned to Greenville where she worked for JP Stevens for many years. She and Odell loved dogs and especially long haired dashunds and raised several. They also enjoyed traveling to Connecticut, Florida and Arkansas to visit her sisters and their nieces and nephews. She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Karen Burnette of Piedmont as well as her nieces, Gail Apilado of Brookfield, CT and Linda Murta of Moncks Corner, SC; nephews, Gary Khoury of Longview, TX and Ralph Iasiello of Boston, MA. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Miriam T. Burnette of Boca Raton, FL, Carolyn Khoury of North Little Rock, AR and Joyce Iasiello of Brookfield, CT.
