Consuelo “Connie” Ruiz Kay, 86, of Warner Robbins, GA, beloved wife of the late Jerry Kay, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Eduardo and Antonia Zamudio Ruiz.
Connie found joy in the art of dance, captivating all with her moves that emanated happiness. Her passion for dancing not only brought a smile to her face but to countless others that had pleasure of watching her.
A devoted lover of animals, Connie’s compassionate spirit extended to all creatures great and small. She found peace and companionship in their presence.
A gifted artist, Connie’s creativity knew no bounds. She found immense pleasure in painting with watercolors and oil paints, capturing the beauty of the world around her with each brushstroke.
With her super fun and energetic personality, Connie brought light into the lives of those around her. Her infectious laughter and zest for life were contagious, making every moment spent with her a memorable one.
Above all, Connie cherished her roles as a wife and mother. She poured boundless love and care into her family, creating a home filled with warmth and happiness.
Connie’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will never fade.
She is survived by son, Anthony Kay (Liliana); and cousin, Roger Guevara.
In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mary Lou Kay.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Graceland Cemetery West.
