Cora Belle (Ackerman) Cassin, widow of Ralph Cassin, went to sleep in death at home with her family early Friday, January 14, 2022.

Cora was loved by many for her gentle way. She loved her cats, her son’s dogs, gardening, taking walks and most of all sharing her hope for the future from the Bible with anyone who would listen.

She is survived by her children Charles Cassin, (Elizabeth, “Liz”), Edward Cassin (Tina), Laurie Nighbert (Wayne), and Lee Cassin (Diana); granddaughters Jessica Mitchell and Amanda McClellan; great grandson Joseph; and many other family members as well as friends that she considered as brothers and sisters from the local congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Belated thoughts to Cora’s family as I just found out about her passing. Laurie and Lee, please know how saddened I am to hear of her loss but I know she will be in Jehovah’s memory. I think back on all of the years that have passed with many fond memories of my time with Cora. I would enjoy hearing from one of you. Margaret Whitney
