Cornelia L. Poole

January 30, 1935 - January 21, 2007
Cornelia L. Poole, 71, of 229 DuPont Drive, wife of Bennie Poole, died Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Bessie Jordan Woods. Mrs. Poole was a homemaker and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are five children, Beverly Burrell, David Poole and Melissa Poole all of Greer, Tim Poole of Greenville, Julie Jeffries of Suwanee, GA.; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three sisters. Memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Association of the Midlands, Logan Community School, Room 307, 815 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 26, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
