Corrie McClain Reid, 73, of 3 Speed Street, died Thursday, July 31, 2008. Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Dessie Bannister McClain, and the widow of Eugene Reid, Jr. Surviving are four daughters, Cathy McMahan, of Easley, and Elaine Bradberry, Marie Corbin and Wanda Brown, all of Greenville; two sons, Thomas Williams and Tony Reid, both of Greenville; two sisters, Mary Veal, of Greenville and Addie New, of Belton; two brothers, James McClain, of Travelers Rest, and Willis McClain, of Greenville; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and life-long friend and companion, Charles Tucker, of Greenville. Mrs. Reid was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Reid. The funeral service will be Monday, August 4, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. Visitation will be today, Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West. Memorials may be made to City View First Baptist Church, Youth and Children's Ministry, 2300 West Blue Ridge Drive, Greenville, SC 29611. The family will be at the residence.
