Daisey Belle Tyner

November 20, 1913 - January 10, 2008
Daisey Belle L. Tyner, 94, of Allen Street, widow of Lee John Tyner, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late John F. Lindsey and Mary Ann Lindsay. Mrs. Tyner was a member of Tremont Church of God for over 70 years and was an avid Bible reader. She was retired from Dunean Mill following 40 years of service and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley J. and Wayne Pyeatt of Greenville, Mary Louise and Vince Luchsinger of New Freedom, PA.; two sons, Leon Tyner of Greenville, Ralph L. Tyner of Warner Robins, GA.; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Hattie Smith and three brothers, Garson, Claude and Haskell Lindsay. Memorials may be made to Tremont Church of God Building Fund, 2854 New Easley Highway, Greenville, SC 29611. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Tremont Church of God. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
