Daisy Ann Medlin, 88, of Greenville, passed away, Friday, May 1, 2020.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late George and Annie Styles Davis.

Daisy was loved by all who knew her. She was devoted to her children and was blessed to be surrounded by her church family.

She is survived by daughter Jackie Coons (Robert); son Danny Medlin (Theresa); daughter Tammy Elkins (Joe); grandchildren Chad, Jennifer, Brittany, Chase, and Taylor; great grandchildren Billy, Reilly, Audrey, Avery, Kevin, Holden, Brody, and Hampton; and sister Betty Woolbright.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Medlin; and many beloved brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Medlin will lie in state on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. A private Graveside Service will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her friend and care giver, Peggy Wilson for her dedication to their mom these last few months.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Baptist Church, 12 Piney Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.

Where do I start? Daisy and I worked together for over 25 years at Norwich pharmaceuticals. I loved her dearly and am so sorry have not kept in touch. She and Jack were a great couple and example of the spiritual fruits. What a happy homecoming in heaven. Prayers for each of her family members. I know you have many memories to cherish

Daisy was such a joy to know and be around. I’m so glad God let our paths cross at Unity Baptist Church. I always called her Mama Red and she always laughed about it. Will miss her terribly.
