Dallas R. Boggs, 85, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 24, 2021, while surrounded by his family.

Born in Easley, SC, he was a son of the late Paul Boggs and Francis Blanton.

Mr. Boggs was a member of Crosswell First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Parker High School, class of 1955.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean Boggs; two daughters, Wanda Bishop (Randy), and Tanya Bishop (Tim); son, Kyle Boggs (Sandy); six grandchildren, Lorie Steveson (Eric), Kim Crowe (Kevin), Daniel Bishop (Andrea), Ashley Bishop, Brittany Johnson (Dee), Carl Patton (Heather); 11 great grandchildren; brother, Braxton Boggs (Delores); and sister, Dorothy Blaylock.

In addition to his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by a granddaughter; a great grandson; and a brother, Paul Boggs.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Crosswell First Baptist Church followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Graceland Cemetery West. All attendees are strongly encouraged to wear masks and follow CDC guidelines on social distancing.

Thinking of the Bishop and Boggs family today as they lay to rest a very kind and special man. I have many fond memories visiting Dallas and Jeans house growing up. Going camping at the lake or beach. Watching the video tribute, I could hear Dallas’ distinct laugh in some of those pictures. No doubt about it, he was very loved and I know he will be missed. Praying for you all.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dallas and Jean most all my life. They loved the Lord, their family, and everyone God placed in their pathway. When entering their home they made you feel like one of the family. I got to help care for Dallas' from time to time when he was very weak. My favorite memories memories during those times was when he'd thank me for caring for him. Other times he'd look me in the eye with his beautiful blue eyes and say, "Hey girl!" Then he'd smiled that awesome grin. He will be missed but his legacy and godly heritage will live on. I love each of you.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

So sorry for your loss,Dallas was a good Godly man and he set a good example of his faith every day by the way he lived.I love his whole family. Gods promises we will see him again in heaven.

May God's love minister unto you in this time of grief. Dallas emanated love, joy, kindness and faithfulness We were blessed beyond measure to know him. We look forward to seeing him in paradise.

Uncle Dallas was the best! Always with a smile! He made our childhood growing up two doors down the best ever with memories that can never be taken away. Memories we will never forget. My prayers are with Aunt Jean, Tanya, Wanda , and Kyle in the coming days, weeks and months as they lay to rest, their loving husband and father. Time will help ease the pain of loosing a loved one but will never take his place in your hearts . He will be missed dearly ! ❤️??
