Leland “Dan” McFee, 75, husband of Fran McFee of Greer, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of the late L.D. and Bernice Hicks McFee.

Dan was of the Baptist faith. A United States veteran of the Marine Corps, he served his country during the Vietnam War. He worked for J.D. Hollingsworth before establishing his own company in the textile industry.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his three daughters, Charlotte Edwards (Eric), Donnice Wilkerson (Dick), and Joy McFee; three granddaughters, Katelin Carter (Joseph), Ericka Styles, and Emily Burnette (Jack); two great-granddaughters, Haddie Carter and Ellison Carter; and a great-grandson, Kacey Burnette.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at http://www.stjude.org.
