Dave Belt Parker

Dave Belt Parker, 83, of 112 Willow Lane, #79, died Friday, August 10, 2007. Born in Mondamin, IA, Mr. Parker was the husband of Bertha Young Parker and the son of the late David and Henrietta Belt Parker. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of Mauldin Church of Christ. In addition to his wife, Mr. Parker is survived by three daughters, Diana Manley of Greenville, Rita Nelson of Madras, OR, and Mary Jackson of Portland, OR; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dave Parker. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with visitation from 11:00 until 11:45 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beaufort National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mauldin Church of Christ, P.O. Box 731, Mauldin, SC 29662-0731.
