David Andrew Spears

June 14, 1985 - September 17, 2006
David Spears, 21, went home to be with his Lord on September 17, 2006. He lived a remarkable life and brought joy and hope to many. He will be sorely missed until we meet again. David was the son of Robert and Jenny Spears. He was a graduate of Riverside High School and member of Second Presbyterian Church, where he loved to minister to the little children. Surviving in addition to his parents are brother, Daniel C. Spears; two sisters, Katie Hambright and her husband Joe and Rebekah Johnson and her husband Nathaniel; nephew Nate Johnson; maternal grandparents, Bill and Ann Christopher of Moultrie, GA; and paternal grandparents, Bob and Kathryn Spears of Augusta, GA. He has many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held Monday night from 7:00 ? 9:00 pm at Second Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer, SC followed by a Noon worship service at Second Presbyterian Church, Greenville, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children?s Ministries, c/o Second Presbyterian Church, 105 River St., Greenville, SC 29601. – Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown
