David Freeman Williams, Jr., 80, husband of Peggy Williams, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late David and Marion Williams, Sr.
After a career with J.D. Hollingsworth on Wheels, David enjoyed working at Bi-Lo where he made many friends. He was also a Mason and a Shriner.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, left to cherish his memory are two sons, David Freeman Williams, III and his wife, Irene, Randy Williams, Sr.; five grandchildren, Justin Williams, Mandi Benton and her husband, Johnny, Scott Williams, Randy Williams, Jr., and Alex Williams; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Williams.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by three sisters, Sandra Hughes, Mary Patterson, and Shirley Cannon.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 03, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
