David Hunt Campbell, 76, of 5 Overton Ave., Greenville died May 14, 2004 at his residence. Born in Honea Path, he was the son of the late Wallace L. and Mamie Hunt Campbell. Mr. Campbell served his country in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of Clemson College, where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Textile Management. He was president and owner of Natax Systems of Poinsett, Inc. for 13 years. His previous career was held in the textile industry. Mr. Campbell was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and the Ruth Donavan Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Margaret Huiet Campbell, of the home; son, David H. Campbell, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Columbia; two brothers, Ralph H. Campbell of Asheville, NC and Dr. George W. Campbell of Chesterfield, VA; and one sister, Janice Knapp of Agawan, MA. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wallace L. Campbell, Jr. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 until 5:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 am at St. Mark United Methodist Church, with interment to follow in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery in Johnston, SC.
