David Michael Seeger

David M. Seeger, 67, of 128 Ellie Drive, died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at his home. A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Henry Arthur and Pearlie Hawkins Seeger, and the husband of Jean McCravy Seeger of the home. Mr. Seeger was a member of Welcome Baptist Church for fifty years where he taught the Challengers Sunday School Class and served on the finance committee. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a retired employee of Barlow Rand. In addition to his wife, Mr. Seeger is survived by two sons, David Scott Seeger of the home, and Steven Matthew Seeger of Greenville; three brothers, Carol L. Seeger of Columbia, B.J. Seeger of Anderson, and James H. Seeger, Sr. of Powdersville. He was predeceased by two brothers, Jack T. Seeger and Henry Seeger, and three sisters, Nell Kennemore, Marie Carnes and Sally Whitmire. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation from 12 noon to 1:15 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West.
