David Morton, 61, of Dacusville, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Curtis Walter Morton and Lula Reed Peebles. Surviving are his wife, Norma Jean Dillard Morton, of the home; two daughters, Sonja Morton of Greenville and Kristie Leland of Westminster; a son, Brent Morton, of Blue Ridge; one granddaughter; and three grandsons. Memorial services will be Saturday at 12 Noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The family is at the home of Sonja Morton.
