David Northrup Drummond, Sr

David Northrup Drummond, Sr., 70, of 7 Arch Street died Wednesday, July 21, 2004. Husband of Eloise Franklin Drummond, he was born in Greenville a son of Josie Chambers Drummond and the late Ansel Drummond. A US Army veteran, he was a self-employed painting contractor. Mr. Drummond was a member of Russell Memorial Presbyterian Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter, Karen King and husband, Rusty, of Greenville; sons, David Northrup Drummond, Jr., Terry Allen Drummond, and David Keith Drummond, all of Greenville; sister, Ollie Phillips Mims of Spartanburg; a brother Marvin S. Drummond of Simpsonville; and two grandchildren, Ryan King and Madison King. He was predeceased by a son, Stanley Talmadge Drummond. Visitation will be 7:00 ? 8:30 p.m. Friday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday at Russell Memorial Presbyterian Church, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at the residence. Those desiring may make memorials to Russell Memorial Presbyterian Church Life Center, 31 Calhoun Ave., Greenville, SC 29617.
