I walked on the beach yesterday and remembered the precious moments we had there together, Someday I hope it will hurt less to remember but for now I will use these memories to try to heal my heart and quell my sorrow.

I only knew Deidre when I was barely a toddler but I've always loved and remembered her fondly. She was a dear friend to my mother and father. She always brought such life and energy everywhere she went. She attended my brother's funeral and it was the first time I'd seen her in probably 25 years, yet it was one of the greatest comforts. I'll truly miss her.
Gabriel Wright left a message on October 30, 2021:
With much grief and love, We both mourn Deidre's death and celebrate her life and her tremendous love and service. The world is less without you, but we know your residency is with our Heavenly Father!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
James H Garren Jr left a message on October 12, 2021:
I was not fortunate enough to know Diedre as well as you all, but I did know enough about her to know that she was indeed a special woman on this earth. Thanksgiving with her was an especially gracious event, and I am thankful we got to spend at least one together. As I peruse the messages and memories, I am reminded of something that I found beautiful some years back, and it seemed to give comfort where needed the most. It is, I believe that God wanted a unique rose in His garden beside His throne. May our Lord and Savior grant you all the peace He promises us, and until we meet again, The Lord bless thee and keep thee. The Lord make His face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee and give thee peace.

Lifting the family up in prayer. Deidre was such a beautiful soul! She and Alice came in to my work a couple of years ago and it had been over 30 years since I had seen Alice but still recognized her sweet smile. Alice and my mother Peggy worked together many years ago. In fact Alice still had something that I made her over 50 years ago hanging in her kitchen. I had since connected with Deidre on Facebook and am so saddened by her death but I know she and Alice are rejoicing in Heaven. Love and prayers to the Painter and Culbertson families.

To my beloved Aunt Deidre, Words cannot express the void that losing you has created. Although the world is dimmer without you here, I know that Heaven is much more brilliant with your presence. You have been so much more than an aunt to me. You have also been a mother, a mentor, and a friend. Your love of God was evident in everything you said and did. You handled difficult times with elegance, grace, and compassion. You inspired me and my children to do better and be better people. I pray that I can live each day by your example and shine the light of Jesus as you did. I will miss our adventures. I will miss the nights filled with movies and popcorn, "watch parties" where we sat around the table talking about Jesus, impromptu dinner dates, hiking adventures, and trips to the beach and Unicorn farm. You have filled all of our lives with so much joy and happiness. I will cherish the memories I have of you and know that the next time I see you, it will be forever. Love, Clarissa

In a moment of sadness I leaned to my closest pup for comfort..as I was greeted with sleepy warm, wet kisses my mind flashed to a memory. My sweet aunt had a puppy named puddles many years ago and it brought me back to her laughter with the mess this little puppy made ❤️
