Dennis J. Jones

Dennis J. Jones, 66, of 911 Riverwalk Drive died Friday, September 12, 2008. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the loving husband of Constance Jones, a son of the late James H. and Blanche Pfrommer Jones. Mr. Jones was a US Veteran of the National Guard. He was an Executive Director with Merck Inc., retiring after 30 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an active participant within the political arena, arts and culture areas, and various non-profit organizations. Surviving in addition to his beloved wife of 40 years, is a son, Brian J. Jones and wife, Cindy Leigh Jones, of Germany; two brothers, Richard C. Jones, wife, Celie with their children, of North Carolina; Robert J. Jones, wife Rita with their children, of New Jersey; and extended family members as well as friends and colleagues. Memorial service will be Wednesday, September 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. The family will be at the residence.
