Dewey was a fine example of what a friend should be. He supported the missions at Dunean Baptist Church always, his smile and personality always made you feel the love of Christ in his life. He loved his family and friends unconditionally and he will surely be missed. Rest in peace my brother in Christ!

Dewey was a special person to everyone at QS/1.  Every morning we would start our day on the elevator with his famous saying "Just another lovely day!".  We would all laugh and proceed with the day.  Thanks for all the humor!  Our deepest sympathy.

Dewey was a kind and very helpful man.  Although I only new him for just over a year, he was very welcoming to me and always available when anyone needed assistance.  He will be sorely missed by everyone who worked with him and had the pleasure to interact with him.

I sat beside Dewey for almost the past 12 years at the Q. Our little POS group is so small we really are family. He was a great friend to me and helped me through some tough days this past year. I hope he knew how much our friendship meant to me. We are going to miss him so much. He had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. It won’t be the same without his jokes everyday and him saying exactly how he felt without sugar coating anything, we could always count on for these. RIP my bestie
