My heart is hurting! I just had to say, Dexter Kirby, was BY FAR the greatest man I have ever met. Not exaggerating! I'm SO thankful that My Mom and Myself, had the honor for Him to be a part of my mom's last years of her life. She FINALLY met a man that treated her the way ALL of us deserve to be treated. Especially My Mom! So thankful to have had Him a part of my life, and my daughters life's. We loved You SO much! Until we meet again.. Prayers for the family! Pops always had a smile for me and my kids when we saw him. He loved to receive
and give affection (hugs and kisses). LOL He had a way of making a person feel important and cared for. I will miss his shining face and those loving eyes!! I know he's in Heaven and I'll see Pops again! ❤

While Uncle Dexter worked as a contractor for Milliken & Company, he got me an interview there after I graduated Clemson University. Milliken hired me and I recently retired after 35 years of service. Uncle Dexter loved to grin and say “I got you in that big door!”
