Dianna Ligon Smith, 57, wife of F. Ron Smith, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Alicia King and Edward W. Ligon. Mrs. Smith was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was an optician. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Breanna Alicia Smith of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a son, Christopher Edward Smith and wife Lisa of Greenville; a sister, Pat Ligon Perry of Greenville; two brothers, Wade E. Ligon of Columbia and Richard B. Ligon of Greenville; and two grandchildren Krista and Jordan Smith. Memorials may be made to the Greenville County Cancer Society, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
